Call for Abstracts: SAU Education Innovation Poster Competition

The Society of Academic Urology invites submissions for the inaugural SAU Education Innovation Poster Competition at the SAU Winter Meeting.

We welcome abstracts describing cutting-edge educational innovations and scholarship across the continuum of urologic education, including curriculum development, assessment, simulation, educational technology, artificial intelligence, wellness, faculty development, recruitment, and other forward-thinking approaches to teaching and learning.

Submission Deadline: October 1

All accepted abstracts will be presented as posters.

A New, High-Impact Championship Experience

In a first-of-its-kind format at SAU, the top eight abstracts will advance to the SAU Education Innovation Championship—a dynamic, live session designed to showcase the most transformative ideas in urologic education.

Finalists will:

• Deliver a high-impact, two-minute rapid-fire presentation using a single, visually compelling slide
• Compete in front of a live audience using real-time voting and engagement
• Be evaluated not only on innovation, but on scalability, implementation, and national impact

This fast-paced, audience-driven format transforms traditional poster presentations into a stage for educational innovation, culminating in the selection of the inaugural SAU Education Innovation Champion.
