​The purpose of the Bylaws committee is to make recommendations to the Executive Committee regarding necessary revisions to Society Bylaws. Bylaws are to be reviewed at least every 5-years.

Communications & Engagement Committee

The purpose of the Engagement and Communication Committee is to oversee the development and execution of podcasts, webinars, and contribute to social media-based communication to promote SAU efforts.

Data and Survey Committee

The purpose of the Data and Survey Committee is to evaluate surveys submitted to the SAU for dissemination to membership, to develop surveys created by SAU taskforces, and to make recommendations to surveyors and disseminate results.  In addition the committee will engage in strategic planning around increasing SAU and education research across the urologic community though collaboration.

Grants and Education Committee

The purpose of the Grants and Education Committee is to evaluate new grant applications and recommend awardees, evaluate past grants and their impact, evaluate educational content submitted to the AUA Education Council and make final recommendations, and oversee SAU-driven curricula.

Health Access and Workforce Advancement Committee

The purpose of the Representation and Inclusion Committee is to recommend and promote initiatives that advance representation and inclusion and serve as liaison to other programs and organizations that address diversity and mentorship.

Match Committee

The purpose of the Match Committee is to verify match results, manage and evaluate match process, match violations, preference signaling, synchronized interview release, and any other issues regarding the Match Policy and Guidelines. The Committee should also organize webinars for information dissemination around the match cycle.

Medical Student Interest and Resident Recruitment Committee

The purpose of the SAU Medical Student Interest and Resident Recruitment Committee is to (1) develop and execute strategy to heighten medical student interest in urology and (2) oversee efforts to improve the effectiveness of residency recruitment.  The committee engages with the AUA Medical Student Committee and other pipeline programs such as Michigan Urology Academy to advance workforce representation.
