SAU funds grants used to develop projects that allow academic faculty to meet the requirements of residency education and improve the quality of urologic training and research. Completed projects are applicable to most urology residency programs and have a broad appeal to program directors trying to enhance the quality of resident and fellow education.

Eligibility

• Urology Department or Division SAU membership
• Urology faculty
• Projects without prior internal or external peer-review
• Pilot or development and feasibility proposals
• Interdisciplinary proposals

Proposed projects must be designed with a two year maximum timeline, $10,000 or less budget, and deliver a tangible product that will be made available to all program directors and chairpersons within the organization.
