The Society of Academic Urologists (SAU) invites submissions of original educational research abstracts for presentation at the 2026 SAU Winter Meeting.
Accepted abstracts will be displayed as unmoderated posters in the exhibit hall. We request one author to be present at their poster during the Welcome reception.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
- Character Limit: Maximum of 2,280 characters (excluding spaces).
This includes the title, abstract body, tables, and graphics.- Each table or graphic counts as 225 characters toward the total.
- Language: All abstracts must be submitted in English.
- Title: Should clearly reflect the content. Avoid abbreviations.
- Authors: List all contributing authors using full names. A faculty mentor must be listed for trainee submissions.
- Structure: Abstracts must be organized into the following sections:
- Introduction and Objective
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusions
Eligibility & Submission Policies
- Previously submitted abstracts (e.g., to the AUA or other conferences) may be submitted, provided they were not previously highlighted at SAU.
- Previously published work (in peer-reviewed journals) is not eligible.
- Industry professionals are not permitted to present
- At least one presenting authors must register for and attend the SAU Winter Meeting.
- Edits will not be accepted after the submission deadline.

Review & Selection Process
All abstracts will be peer-reviewed by a panel of urologic educators.
Review criteria include:
- Relevance to urologic education
- Innovation and originality
- Clarity and organization
- Potential impact
The top abstracts will be selected for an award.

- Notification of Acceptance: November 12, 2025
